Welcome to Ten Racing Group
The Ten Racing Group kicked off the 2008 season in January at the Key West Regatta where they competed in Farr 40 ‘Le Renard’. For the rest of the year, the team is back campaigning the X-35 ‘Perfect Ten’. The plan is to spend the first half of the season settling scores from 2007 with their northern European rivals: sailing in the winter/spring races in Holland, the X-35 Cup at Medemblik and then the North Sea Regatta. After that, in preparation for the Worlds in Italy in September, the boat heads to the Med to contend in the Copa del Rey Regatta in Palma.
The Group has considerably strengthened the boats crew with the addition of two times 470 World Champions Nick Asher and Elliot Willis. Asher will be racing as tactician and Willis will be taking the lead trim position.
Technical support is provided to the Group by Quantum Sails GBR and Essex property developer Turnstone Estates continue to be the Groups title sponsor.
